About the role Pathology Associates is seeking an Equity Sales professional to join our team. In this full‑time, remote work role, you will be responsible for providing expert investment advice on HKEX and TSE listed biotech and pharmaceutical companies to our institutional clients. What you'll be doing Developing and maintaining strong relationships with a portfolio of Institutional Fund Managers Work with our analysts to provide investment research and analysis to support timely client decision‑making Formalise our relationship with current institutional users of our research by facilitating onboarding or subscription to our service Collaborate with our research team to identify timely market opportunities in Chinese or Japanese life science equities Contribute to the continuous improvement of our equity sales processes, tools, and relationships Daily tasks include coordinating with internal research staff, presenting equity insights to fund managers, providing investment recommendations by email/voicemail, and approaching administrative staff at institutional investors currently utilizing our analytic products to facilitate and promote subscribing to our services What we're looking for Minimum 1‑2 years of experience in an equity sales or similar role within the banking and financial services industry. CFA or Financial / Accounting qualification highly desirable Strong understanding of equity markets, equity valuation, and equity sales processes and strategies Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to effectively present complex financial information and investment ideas to Portfolio Managers Proficiency in English and either Mandarin or Japanese Proven track record of building and maintaining successful client relationships.
