TRAINEE: Equity Derivatives Flow Sales at Societe Generale This is a fixed term 24 month Trainee contract. You will work full time as part of the Equity Derivatives Flow Sales team, gaining deep exposure to trading, research and client interactions while developing independent trading and analysis skills. Responsibilities Assist the Equity Derivatives Flows Sales team with day‑to‑day activities Support the desk by developing, improving and maintaining trading tools and reports Participate in Sales‑led projects, gathering information and preparing relevant supporting materials Assist in the KYC process and credit approvals Assist sales in White Space analysis (Sales Research), pipeline and opportunities development Assist sales in identifying new prospects from client lists (event organizers, industry portals) and new client segments Qualifications Hold a relevant Bachelors or Masters degree in Finance, Engineering, Mathematics, Information Technology or similar Previous working or internship experience in the financial field is preferred Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint required; coding skills preferred Able to work under pressure and deal with exposure to risk Result‑oriented, determined and capable of making reliable decisions Fluent English is mandatory Behavioural Skills Client‑focus: Listen to clients and colleagues to understand and anticipate their needs Client‑sales and marketing strategy: Contribute to adapting our offer to client and internal partner needs Team spirit – synergies: Prioritise cooperation with colleagues inside and outside the team Innovation – thinking outside the box: Propose new ideas and solutions Responsibility – risk awareness: Constantly monitor potential risks Commitment – sustainability: Strive to develop skills and knowledge Work Environment Hybrid arrangement offering flexibility to work remotely and on‑site while adhering to SG standard protocols Our Commitment to Diversity & Inclusion We are an equal opportunities employer and proud to make diversity a strength.
