Your Role

The role is responsible for accounting duties including internal management reporting and regulatory reporting for Hong Kong and liaising with external service providers for the financials of Allfunds Shanghai.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Manage accounts payables (including processing vendors' invoices and staff claims and payment processing including ensuring proper approvals are obtained for all expenditures before any payments).
  • Maintain books for Allfunds Hong Kong including monthly financial reporting, regulatory reporting, annual tax reporting, and monthly reconciliation.
  • Perform accounts receivables functions, including issuing invoices and receipts entries.
  • Maintain fixed asset register and perform annual fixed asset verifications.
  • Preparation of month-end accruals journal entries.
  • Data entry of payments, receipts & monthly journal entries.
  • Prepare the FRR monthly report.
  • Work with Compliance on the version update of the FRR.
  • Prepare the annual budget, forecasting and variance analysis.
  • Provide support on ad-hoc projects and process improvement.
  • Liaise with auditors for the annual audit.
  • Any other duties as assigned by the supervisor.
  • Possess integrity and discretion when handling confidential information.

About you

  • Diploma or Degree holder with at least 5 years experience.
  • Understanding of fundamental financial principles and IFRS.
  • Strong analytical, interpersonal and stakeholder engagement skills.
  • Willingness to take on new responsibilities and challenges.
  • Able to cope and deliver successful results within agreed upon timeframes.
  • Ability to handle numerous ad hoc responsibilities and prioritize effectively.
  • Detail-oriented, able to resolve problems using facts and sound reasoning.
  • Self-motivated, professional, and flexible, able to work both independently and as part of a team.
  • Proficient in MS Office and Excel.
  • Working knowledge of Xero accounting will be advantageous.
