For more information about the University, please visit We Are Now Looking For a Suitable Person To Fill The Following Position In The School Of Arts And Social Sciences Position Details Job: Temporary/Part-time Academic School/Unit: School of Arts and Social Sciences Closing Date: 10/Dec/2025, 3:59:00 PM Responsibilities The appointee will be required to assist in, and where necessary, undertake course planning, development and delivery of the full-time face-to-face undergraduate programmes. The appointee will be responsible mainly for the following: Conducting tutorials. Marking assignments and examination scripts. Performing other related teaching and administrative duties. Qualifications Candidates should possess the following qualifications, experience and competence for the relevant course(s) are specified as follows: BSCI 2012AEF Applied Psychology in Nursing Applicants should possess a higher degree in Psychology or a related discipline. They should have teaching/professional experience. Relevant teaching experience at tertiary level would be an advantage. LANG A339F Pragmatics Applicants should possess a recognized degree in Linguistics or a related discipline and a postgraduate qualification in TEFL or Linguistics. Relevant teaching experience would be an advantage. LANG 4139AEF Pragmatics Applicants should possess a recognized degree in Linguistics or a related discipline and a postgraduate qualification in TEFL or Linguistics. Relevant teaching experience would be an advantage. SOCI 3004AEF Globalization, Social Policy and Everyday Life Applicants should possess a higher degree in Sociology or a related discipline. They should have teaching/professional experience. Relevant teaching experience at tertiary level would be an advantage. SOCI A331F Perspectives and Issues on Contemporary Urban Development Applicants should possess a higher degree in Sociology or a related discipline. They should have teaching/professional experience. Relevant teaching experience at tertiary level would be an advantage. SOSC 3004AEF Community Engagement and Social Change Applicants should possess a higher degree, preferably an earned doctorate, in Sociology or Social Work. STAT 2001AEF Essentials Of Qualitative Research Inquiry Applicants should possess a higher degree in Sociology or a related discipline. Duration of Appointment The appointee will be required to work during daytime on campus for the period from January 2026 to June 2026 for a maximum of 17 hours per week.
