Part-time Research Assistant I (A&SS) Hong Kong Metropolitan University Li Ka Shing School of Professional and Continuing Education Founded in 1989, Hong Kong Metropolitan University (HKMU) is a modern, vibrant and dynamic university. Our research focuses on strategic areas including digital humanities and literature, international business, gerontechnology, personalised care, smart city, open and innovative education, and bilingual learning and teaching. Responsibilities Preparing materials for the online survey; Study promotion and participant recruitment; Writing reports and drafting papers; Planning, conducting experiments, and data collection; Providing support in literature review and data analysis; and Performing any other duties as assigned to support the operation of the research project. Qualifications, Experience and Competence Recognised Master's degree in psychology (cognitive psychology preferred); Experience in carrying out quantitative research; competence in online survey and statistical software (SPSS, MPlus, R, Qualtrics, MATLAB); Experience in using physiological measures (e.g., EEG, ECG, EDA); Experience in web or app design (UI/UX) is a plus; High level of English and Chinese (Cantonese) proficiency and effective communication and organisational skills; Detail‑oriented, responsible, and self‑motivated; Ability to work independently and under pressure to meet multiple deadlines. Terms and Conditions for Appointment Successful candidate will be appointed on a temporary part‑time contract from January 2026 to November 2026.
