For more information about the University, please visit Part-time Library Assistant (LIB) – (25002M0) Job Temporary/Part-time Non-Academic Closing Date 12/Dec/2025, 3:59:00 PM Major Duties And Responsibilities Assisting in the operations of the Circulation section of the Library; Handling library user enquires and liaising with internal and external parties; Being responsible for the opening and closing of the Library; Assisting in the management of collection, stack, overall physical space and inventory; Assisting in general administrative duties including office management and event organization; and Performing any other duties as assigned by the University Librarian or his/her nominee(s). Working hours Working hours per week will not be more than 16 hours. Daytime shifts Weekdays: 9:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. and/or 1:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. Evenings and weekends shifts Weekdays (evenings): 6:00 p.m. to 10:00 p.m.; and Saturdays, Sundays and public holidays: 9:00 a.m. to 10:00 p.m. Candidates Candidates Should Possess The Following Qualifications, Experience And Competence At least 5 subjects with Level 2 or above in HKDSE including English & Chinese languages and Mathematics; or equivalent; and Preferably with library or related working experience.
