The School of Nursing and Health Sciences seeks a research assistant to support a project on "MyGlucoCare," a smartphone‑based self‑management tool for women with gestational diabetes. Major Duties And Responsibilities The appointee will assist the Principal Investigator on the following tasks: Web‑App Development: Design, build, and test the "MyGlucoCare" web‑app, ensuring delivery of the three core intervention components. Technical Maintenance: Troubleshoot technical issues, maintain data security, and support the platform during the 10‑month study. Assist in participants’ recruitment. Assist in conducting interviews. Conduct literature reviews on relevant topics. Perform quantitative and qualitative data analysis. Provide general research‑related assistance. The position is part‑time, normally assigned to a maximum of 17 hours per week. Working hours will be scheduled by the Principal Investigator. Qualifications A recognised Bachelor’s degree or higher, preferably in Nursing, Healthcare, Social Sciences, or a related discipline. Proficiency in web‑app development and MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint). Experience with SPSS is a distinct advantage. Good command of written and spoken English and Chinese. A strong sense of self‑motivation and responsibility, with the ability to work independently. Terms And Conditions The successful candidate will be appointed on a temporary part‑time contract.
