About the Business / Function Our Destination Management services form the core of our business. Together with our destination experts, our sales teams generate business and shape itineraries suited to our customers’ needs with real-time insider knowledge. We take care of everything from ground support, hotel bookings, sightseeing, restaurants, and local guides; all while providing 24/7 customer support so that travelers from over 50 countries can enjoy memorable travel experiences worry free. About the Role MICE specialists are professionals whoassist clients in planning, contracting, organizing, and executing various events. They act as the primary point of contact, providing personalized end-to-end solutions and ensuring the smooth operation of events and great quality of relationships with clients. As a MICE Sales professional, you will be responsible for generating leads, managing client relationships, and ensuring successful execution of MICE events. This role requires a deep understanding of the event management industry and a strong ability to translate client requirements into exceptional event solutions. Key Responsibilities Identify and prospect potential clients within the MICE industry. Develop and maintain strong client relationships to ensure repeat business. Conduct detailed needs assessments and provide tailored MICE solutions. Coordinate with internal teams to ensure successful event delivery. Negotiate contracts and close sales to meet or exceed targets. Stay current with industry trends and competitor activities. Prepare and present proposals and presentations to clients. Provide excellent customer service and resolve any client issues. Track sales activities and maintain accurate records in the system. Attend industry events and trade shows to network and generate leads. Receive and convert incoming enquiries to achieve targets and maximize revenue. Make proposals and sales presentations to prospective clients as well as explain, negotiate and close hotel sales. Accurate data entry of group and meeting enquiries. Complexity Contributing to the promotion of the destination, sales and margin growth. Ensuring delivery of excellent quality standard from both land service and hotel suppliers. Bringing right balance of creativity, accuracy and problem solving. Meeting assigned objectives & targets. Travelling up to 20%. To Succeed In this Role, You Should Have: Strong organisational Skills, able to plan and deliver multiple projects in tandem Financially literate and able to deliver projects within budget and with highest profitability for the company in mind. Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills with a natural ability to work cross-functionally with different departments Ability to win new business, and up sell throughout a project Effective relationship builder (With clients, Suppliers and internal staff) Effective Crisis Management, and problem-solving abilities. Commercially minded, with a keen eye for market trends Analytical and reporting skills. We Are Looking for a Person With: Bachelor’s degree in business, Marketing, or related field. Proven track record in sales, preferably within the MICE industry. Strong networking and relationship-building skills. Excellent communication and negotiation abilities. Ability to understand client needs and deliver customized solutions. Highly organized with strong project management skills. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite. Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends as needed. Positive attitude and good communication skills Strong sales background in MICE. Self-motivated salesperson.
