Join to apply for the Global Sales Director, Hyatt Sales Force Hong Kong role at Hyatt Summary This position will report to RVP Global Sales HSF- Greater China and will focus on driving market share growth and account development across the Luxury, Lifestyle, and MICE market segments in Hong Kong, Taiwan, and parts of China as required. Organization & Regional Office Regional Office – ASPAC Responsibilities Oversee overall account management, RFPs, programs, promotions, and B2B marketing opportunities. Achieve semi‑annual quota with a focus on market share shift and maintain travel expenses within the set budget. Key activities include: Implement strategic plans for a portfolio of accounts (MICE agencies in Hong Kong and luxury agencies in Taiwan) to meet or exceed revenue/market share goals. Conduct business travel for account portfolio management, QBRs, trade shows, fam trips, and internal meetings. Orchestrate quarterly account and market action plans in collaboration with other Directors and Managers to drive production and revenue for both group and transient segments. Manage MICE RFP negotiations on existing and new accounts. Coordinate trade shows, events, and sales missions such as Hyatt Fair, Hyatt Events, Sales Appreciation events, and Luxury Missions alongside the Global HSF team and Greater China Regional team. Develop and cultivate potential agencies and tour operators within the Hyatt Preferred Partner Program. Research B2B opportunities to drive revenue, brand awareness, and total account management for our brands globally. Provide market condition feedback, forecasts, and recommendations to RVP Global Sales HSF Greater China and our hotels. Maintain a professional image, punctual reporting, and high standards of personal appearance. Qualifications Experience Written and spoken proficiency in English is required. 10+ years of experience in hotel sales, with global sales experience preferred, especially within the Travel Agency, TMC, Meetings and Events space. Strong sales and marketing operational experience. Excellent organizational and administrative skills; ability to coordinate third‑party and internal resources. Ability to prioritize tasks in a deadline‑driven environment. Excellent interpersonal skills and diplomacy to build constructive relationships. Results‑oriented mindset with a balance of process and outcome focus. Self‑starter and capable of working independently. Education Degree in Hotel Management, Business Administration, Marketing, and/or Revenue management. Computer Skills Microsoft Office Suite Project management software Cvent Transient or equivalent systems Knowledge of CRS systems such as Delphi Additional Comments & Requirements Ability to travel extensively.
