We are now seeking a full‑time Senior Merchandiser / Merchandiser (Sweater) to join our team. Responsibilities Support product development for new knitwear styles from concept to sample stage. Create and maintain accurate tech packs, including design, material, and construction details. Source and manage yarn, trim, and accessory suppliers to meet design, quality, and sustainability standards. Coordinate with factories (China, Cambodia, Sri Lanka, Bangladesh, etc.) for sample development and ensure all timelines are met. Communicate, liaise, support, and expand supplier networks for innovative yarns, trims, and technical materials. Work closely with designers and technicians to translate creative ideas into commercially viable products. Manage multiple accounts and serve as the key liaison between overseas customers and Asia‑based suppliers. Work cross‑functionally with internal and external teams. Support communication, cost negotiation, and development follow‑up directly with international customers. Stay current with market, yarn, and material innovations to identify new opportunities and support creative development. Partner with internal teams to ensure seamless handover from design to bulk production. Prepare and track product development calendars, samples, and reports for management review. Qualifications Minimum 5 years of relevant merchandising experience in sweaters/knitwear, ideally from an Asia manufacturer or trading company; retailer‑side experience is an advantage. Proven experience in both Men’s and Women’s sweater knitwear across Lifestyle and Contemporary categories (activewear experience a major bonus). Strong US and Europe market experience with customer‑facing account management responsibilities. Excellent technical knowledge of yarns, gauges, stitches, and finishing techniques. Tri‑lingual proficiency: English, Cantonese, and Mandarin. Strong communication, presentation, and negotiation skills; able to work directly with overseas brand partners and Asia suppliers. Sourcing and product development experience with strong supplier network. Capable of working independently in a fast‑paced MNC environment, managing multiple projects and priorities. Highly organized with exceptional time management and attention to detail. Curious, adaptable, and strategic mindset with a passion for innovation. Open to occasional travel to factories, suppliers, and overseas customers. Outgoing and collaborative personality with a solutions‑driven approach.
