We are looking for a creative and experienced program designer based in Hong Kong to build a transformational and challenging bootcamp for young adults aged 18–24. The program supports participants who feel uncertain or lost about their future—helping them explore their core strengths, clarify their identity, understand their place in the world, and develop resilience through meaningful challenges and real‑world awareness. Responsibilities Design a multi‑session growth and resilience bootcamp with clear goals, progression and activity plans. Create experiential, reflective and challenge‑based activities that help participants explore character strengths, values and identity, build emotional resilience, courage and interpersonal confidence, understand their unique voice and role within their communities and engage with the world around them with greater awareness and responsibility. Integrate applied theatre, creative arts and storytelling as core learning tools that push participants to step outside their comfort zones. Collaborate closely with a team consisting of a theatre practitioner, a documentary filmmaker and a mental health counsellor to design a multidisciplinary experience. Ensure the program is inclusive, trauma‑aware and supportive of diverse young adults navigating early adulthood. Ensure participant wellbeing and safety. Work with the core team to research, design, test, pilot, evaluate and refine the program. Lead the bootcamp. Requirements Based in Hong Kong, Cantonese speaker. 7+ years of experience working with young adults (18–24) in youth development, education, mentorship, counselling or creative facilitation. Proven ability to design experiential, reflective or challenge‑based programmes, workshops or curricula. Strong understanding of facilitation, supportive challenge, group dynamics and creating safe spaces for discomfort, growth and dialogue. Comfortable collaborating with creatives and integrating artistic or narrative‑based methods into programme design. Excellent communication, organisation and project management skills. Deep interest in helping young adults discover who they are, how they relate to others and how they can contribute meaningfully to the world around them. Work well in a small, nimble team. Able to take initiative and do hands‑on work. Willing to have other engagements simultaneously but must reserve a substantial portion of time for the project. Nice to have Background in applied theatre, expressive arts, storytelling or experiential learning. Experience with positive psychology, social‑emotional learning or strengths‑based approaches. Familiarity with embodiment work, movement or adventure‑style activities. Ability to use tools for tracking growth and capturing participant reflections. Working arrangement & compensation Contract period Project‑based role beginning January 2026 and running through August 2026 for Phase 1 (research, co‑design, programme development and programme itself). Flexible working arrangement with certain periods being more intensive, averaging 2–3 days a week, depending on research, workshops or programme milestones. Compensation We offer a project‑based fee, depending on the candidate’s availability and preferred working structure.
