About the Role lululemon is an innovative performance apparel company focused on yoga, running, training, and other athletic pursuits, creating transformational products and experiences that support people in moving, growing, connecting, and being well. Reported to the Director, Store Design, APAC, the Store Designer assembles all direct and indirect design information relevant to company branding and store functionality for new and remodel store projects, maximizes design impact and mentors external design vendors. Responsibilities Develop project plans (conceptual and development phases) and monitor schedules to ensure accurate and timely production of construction materials and documents for all assigned projects. Develop and execute all conceptual designs, design details and sourcing of materials for store interior and exterior. Present completed design concepts to regional markets and approving design committee. Help develop and be involved in the retail store design process to ensure that team designs meet company and landlord design criteria. Research new innovative materials to meet the team’s core design goals. Serve as the brand point of contact for all architecturally related design elements. Work with appropriate internal and external groups to develop effective store fixtures. Qualifications Minimum 6 to 8 years of design work experience, with a Degree or Diploma in Interior Design or Architecture. Retail merchandising experience an asset. Strong ability to drive work and meet deadlines. Advanced proficiency in AutoCAD, Photoshop, Illustrator, SketchUp and Microsoft Office. Highly motivated, detail‑oriented, dependable, open to teach and learn. Solution‑oriented team player capable of working independently. Strong organizational skills and ability to multitask and handle multiple projects. Must haves Acknowledges the presence of choice in every moment and takes personal responsibility.
