General Description While an active member of the Integrated Technologies team, the Consultant (Audio Visual) also works closely with the sales team as technical lead for clients with prospective new projects and the project team for large size consultancy and implementation projects. Core Responsibilities Gather detailed requirements from clients Master and coordinate the resources across Principle One’s range of expertise necessary to propose and price a winning solution in the required timescale. Accurately estimate resources required to design and deliver a solution. Design credible, technically sound solutions to meet clients’ requirements. Seek opportunities to propose value-added solutions. Propose solutions according to Principle One best Practices. Remain actively involved with client through the project lifecycle. Proactively communicate with engineers and sales on solutions provide an expectation set with clients Maintain up to the minute knowledge of products and solutions in the Audiovisual marketplace. Identify opportunities to apply these to our clients. Proactively update Audio Visual, Sales and Management team on latest solutions. Develop and maintain positive relationship with manufacturers. Monitor success of solutions we deploy and feedback to manufacturers. Key Skills Verbal & Written Communication Explain ideas and concepts clearly and concisely Fluent in both spoken and written English, Cantonese and Mandarin Interpersonal skills Communicates with integrity Good perception of the needs of others Proactive and adaptive Client orientation Constantly looking for opportunities to improve audiovisual solutions to meet client business needs Keep client update on request status to set their expectation Team Work Take initiative to share information and work with Sales and Engineers to provide creative solutions Be open and helpful Technical Expertise Demonstrate solid and update technical know-how Ability to assess and analyze business problem logically and systematically Work experience requirements Minimum 5 years audiovisual technologies experience Knowledge/experience on audio and video system such as Cisco, Poly, Crestron, QSC, Shure, AMX, Biamp, Extron, and other multimedia systems. Thorough understanding of audiovisual testing methodologies and quality assurance. Practical knowledge of onsite installation technology and co-ordination. Knowledge and practical experience in banking office/trading floor/video conference room setup. Strong liaison and negotiation skills with client, AV vendors and contractors. Able to work under pressure and fast-paced environment, willing to work extended hours. Education Requirements Related Degree CTS qualification is a must (audio visual qualification from AVIXA) CTS-D or CTS-I qualifications is a plus (audio visual qualification from AVIXA) #J-18808-Ljbffr
