Non Profit Chief Executive Officer (CEO) American Club Foundation Hong Kong (ACF) As a section 88 charity, we empower underprivileged youth, uplift disadvantaged communities, and champion environmental sustainability through our innovative Grants+ model. We provide essential guidance, education, volunteering, community connection, and more along with our funding. By working together, we can help Hong Kong thrive. Role Description We are seeking a visionary leader with startup agility and polish to serve as the ACF’s primary spokesperson and chief storyteller. Our ideal candidate is passionate about philanthropy, excels at creating connections, and is a savvy strategist. You will be the AMBASSADOR of our vision, inspiring communities, rallying support and amplifying our social impact. You will grow the ACF by innovating and strengthening alignment across all our initiatives. Key Responsibilities Strategic Leadership – Collaborate with the ACF Board to shape and execute our annual and long‑term plans, budgets, governance and promotion. Ensure healthy oversight with Board & Chair meetings, financial audits and various monthly and annual reports (with Board and committee support). Ambassador – Represent the ACF in media and events: across the American Club (AC) –including AC Board of Governors updates, ACF Board meetings, American Pillars meetings, and other greater Hong Kong engagements to enhance our visibility, reputation and network. Fundraising – Set financial targets and drive growth via major gifts, donor development, matching funds, partnerships, collaborations and smart use of our CRM system. Create emotional campaigns to mobilize giving. Programs – Design and deliver initiatives (with committee support) that connect to community interests, deepen involvement and ignite positive outcomes. Partnerships – Build authentic relationships with NGOs, corporates, philanthropists, volunteers, and other stakeholders to foster community building and develop impact opportunities. Grants+ – Insure a rigorous funding process (with committee support) that includes timely impact measurement and KPI reporting from our grantees. Operations – Drive excellence with integrity and transparency that includes robust governance, finance, compliance, tax, HR, administration and smooth daily office functions. Communications – Support strategic plans, by championing the brand and key messaging through all storytelling opportunities (with committee support). Culture – Inspire an inclusive and welcoming “Global American” work environment that drives high performance through priority‑setting, smart talent use, flexibility, mentoring/training improvements and gratitude. Qualifications Fluency in English (Cantonese and/or Mandarin a strong advantage). Passion for philanthropy and dedication to improving Hong Kong. Exceptional relationship skills – storytelling and networking. Proven senior leadership experience with strategic, operational, financial and oversight expertise. Success with fundraising, resource mobilization and improvements. Preferred Experience Demonstrated success in fundraising growth and organizational scaling. Knowledge of Hong Kong’s nonprofit and private club landscapes – a plus. Expertise in creative cross‑sector collaborations. Experience with a mission‑driven organization and social impact measurement. Seasoned marketer with an understanding of the Hong Kong marketplace. Understanding of AI tools, automation and process improvement – a plus.
