Senior Credit Officer / Assistant Credit Manager Join to apply for the Senior Credit Officer/Assistant Credit Manager role at The Charterhouse Causeway Bay. Overview We are a hotel that goes beyond borders in service. Responsibilities Review city ledger daily for correct postings and take necessary action. Process credit applications and review for approval in line with hotel policies and procedures. Prepare periodic account statements and billings for travel agents and corporate clients. Monitor customer account movements for delayed and non-payments. Reconcile customer accounts and communicate with customers and the hotel sales department in collection of outstanding guests and city ledger payments. Review the Accounts Receivables aging report regularly and report to the Senior Accounting Manager for any irregularities. Perform general cashier duties, such as: Prepare daily cash count of all cashier deposit drops. Prepare daily bank deposits on a timely and accurate basis. Perform and maintain an accurate record of petty cash disbursements. Maintain an accurate record of all cash float issued and the value of each float. Complete any special duties as assigned by the Senior Accounting Manager. Requirements Diploma or degree qualification in Accounting or Hotel Management. Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in the hospitality industry with Credit Management or Accounts Receivables would be an advantage. Strong integrity sense and fulfillment. Strong understanding of Opera PMS. Good communication skill, well organized and detail oriented. Independent, proactive and having a “can-do” attitude on new changes.
