Responsible Sourcing & Compliance Manager Calson is seeking an experienced and strategic Responsible Sourcing and Compliance Manager to lead our commitment to ethical and sustainable manufacturing. This pivotal role will be responsible for overseeing our global social compliance program, driving supplier accountability, and embedding ESG (Environmental, Social, and Governance) principles deep within our supply chain. The ideal candidate is a proactive leader with a proven track record in the footwear or apparel manufacturing sector. Key Responsibilities Lead, mentor, and develop the Responsible Sourcing and Factory Compliance Audit teams. Set departmental goals, manage team performance, and ensure project milestones are met. Develop, maintain, and implement our social compliance audit program and supplier-facing CSR policies and standards. Supplier Management & Capacity Building Manage the supplier audit program, including scheduling, execution, and review of 3rd party and internal audit reports. Monitor and evaluate supplier performance on sustainability and compliance metrics; drive corrective action plans (CAPs) to resolution. Develop and deliver training tools and materials to build supplier capacity on critical topics like labor rights, health & safety, and environmental management. Conduct regular risk assessments of the supply chain to identify and prioritize ethical, environmental, and social risks. Lead the investigation and resolution of grievances and complaints from supply chain workers related to our Terms of Engagement. Stakeholder Engagement & Innovation Engage with external stakeholders (3rd party audit firms, NGOs, industry associations, government bodies) to monitor emerging trends, regulations, and best practices. Drive continuous improvement and impactful projects in environmental and social governance within the supply chain. Compliance & Reporting Stay current on global regulations and standards. Analyse compliance data to provide clear reports and insights to senior management. Qualifications & Experience Bachelor’s degree in supply chain management, Environmental Science, Social Sciences, or a related field preferably. Minimum of 6 years of progressive experience in social compliance, ethical sourcing, and ESG initiatives. Demonstrated experience in manufacturing supply chain management, preferably within the footwear industry. Comprehensive knowledge of responsible sourcing practices, labour standards, and environmental compliance. Proficiency in conducting social compliance audits and managing corrective action processes. Experience with major audit frameworks (e.g., SMETA, RBA) is essential. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to turn complex data into actionable strategies. Excellent communication, interpersonal, and influencing skills to effectively collaborate with internal teams and external suppliers. Experience with supply chain management software and data analysis tools for tracking and reporting. Mandatory proficiency in both written and spoken English and Chinese to effectively communicate with our regional suppliers and internal stakeholders. #J-18808-Ljbffr
