Solutions Architect / Project Manager / Consultant (Video Analytic, VA) - IC Client Description: Regional IT services and solutions provider Job Description Solution Architect (Video Analytics, VA) Responsibilities – Solution Architect Build VA software application for early engagement with customers by prototyping and proposing, developing, and deploying winning solutions based on VA and VMS technology. Work with team to propose appropriate solutions for clients. Understand customer pain points, architect solution, and build VA application for Proof Of Concept (POC) by training various VA models in short time. Work closely with pre‑sale team to map out functional and technical architecture, and cost estimation. Based on VA prototyping for POC, work with solution partner to integrate partner’s software components or develop solution in house according to specification. Deploy solution based on Linux/Windows in data centre or on customer’s premise without internet. Responsibilities – Project Delivery & Leadership Lead and manage the project delivery teams to deliver revenue and profit targets for key client accounts. Lead and manage customer solution teams during pre‑tender, tender, or trial stages to help win new contracts. Manage a team to ensure timely delivery of services to customers in a cost‑effective manner. Establish responsive business relationships with customers including problem reporting, escalation, and resolution processes. Manage risk and impacts of customer change requests, identifying downstream implications to services, timelines, and costs. Monitor budget and control costs to maximize revenue and margin. Explore new technologies applicable in the sector, working closely with LOBs to build deep engineering capabilities. Build and maintain strong partner relationships with key vendors and contractors to serve client requirements. Collaborate with internal stakeholders (e.g. Customer Fronting Unit) and external groups (e.g. vendors) to serve current and future client needs. Senior Consultant (Video Analytic / VA) Candidates with less experience will be considered as Consultant (Video Analytic / VA). Responsibilities – Consultant Build VA application or solution for Proof Of Concept (POC). Work closely with pre‑sale team to map out functional and technical architecture, and cost estimation. Based on VA prototyping for POC, work with solution partner to integrate partner’s software/hardware components or develop with partner according to tender specification. Advise or propose solution for tender requirement in short time. Job Requirements – Solution Architect (Video Analytics, VA) Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in electrical engineering, computer science, computer engineering, or related discipline, or equivalent combination of education and experience. Experience in customizing VA network layer. Experience in object tracking and Re‑ID is plus. Good awareness of the transport market dynamics and products in VA domains. Familiar with Linux, bash script, python, OpenCV, C/C++, github, Docker, Apache, Base64, protobuffer. Knowledgeable in developing API for VA engine using RESTful, MQTT, AMQT. Knowledgeable in mainstream VA frameworks like Caffe, Tensorflow, OpenVINO. Able to tag event on VMS with exact timestamp from GPS/IOT sensor. Experience in integrating VA to application for matching, searching, or alert. Able to demonstrate how to run through in Ubuntu during interview. Familiar with ffmpeg video streaming, able to calibrate camera optical distortion by OpenCV scripts. Label collected data, transfer learning on Tensorflow or OpenVINO, is a plus. Good interpersonal skills. Proficient in English and Putonghua. Enthusiasm in new technologies (e.g., video analytics, IoT, AI). Job Requirements – Project Manager & Senior Consultant At least 8 years of experience in Project Management capabilities for large scale application development projects. Proven track record in assuming overall responsibility and managing multi‑million dollar projects in both government and commercial sectors. Excellent communications and ability to work well with executive level and staff. Client focused with strong organization and project management skills. Ability to lead multiple teams to deliver robust IT services. Drive and follow up on continuous process improvement exercises in the teams. Proven record of successful staff management in recruitment, performance appraisal, and professional development. Passionate about new technology. Senior Consultant (Video Analytic / VA) – Requirements Bachelor’s in electrical engineering, computer science, or related discipline, or equivalent combination of education and experience. At least 1 year of computer system developing experience, primarily focused on embedded devices or video analytics or deep learning. We also welcome students with 1‑year interim experience. Experience in customizing VA network layer and integrating VA to application like matching or searching or alert. Experience in face tracking and scoring is plus. Good awareness of market dynamics and products in public safety domains. Familiar with Linux, bash script, python, OpenCV, C/C++, github, Docker, Apache, Base64, protobuffer – preferable. Able to develop API for embedded device, familiar with Restful, MQTT, AMQT. Excellent team player, able to communicate and work with different levels of people.
