We are seeking an experienced VP of Cross-Border Payment Technology to lead the design, development, and global implementation of our cross-border payment infrastructure. The ideal candidate will have deep technical expertise in payment systems, proven experience managing international teams, and strong leadership in driving scalable, secure, and compliant global payment solutions. Experience in Web3 or blockchain-related payment systems is a strong plus. Key Responsibilities Lead the end-to-end architecture, design, and delivery of cross-border payment systems and related infrastructure. Manage and grow a global engineering team across multiple time zones, fostering efficient collaboration and high performance. Partner closely with Product, Compliance, Risk, and Finance teams to ensure business and regulatory alignment across markets. Drive continuous improvement in system reliability, scalability, and security. Stay ahead of emerging technologies in payments, digital assets, and Web3 to identify opportunities for innovation. Contribute to the company’s long-term technology strategy and help build a strong engineering culture. Qualifications Bachelor’s degree or above in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field. 8+ years of experience in fintech or payment technology, with at least 3+ years focused on cross-border payment systems . 3+ years of experience leading engineering teams, including cross-border or multicultural team management . Strong understanding of international payment systems (e.g., SWIFT, Visa/MasterCard, global wallets, virtual accounts). Excellent communication skills in English; capable of effective collaboration with international teams. Solid experience in distributed system design, system security, and compliance frameworks. Experience in Web3 / digital asset payment or blockchain-based payment solutions is a strong advantage. Nice to Have Prior leadership role in a fintech or Web3 startup. Hands-on experience building payment infrastructure from 0 to 1. Deep understanding of global payment compliance and fund flow frameworks.
