VP of ETF Trading

A leading investment bank is hiring ETF market maker in Hong Kong. The role would be responsible for client driven ETF market making and market driven arbitrage activities, sweet spot VP level. Responsible for daily market-making trading of HK listed ETF which the company is the official market maker Manage and hedge the market risk of a portfolio of ETF which the company holds in inventory for market making activities Actively seek and capture arbitrage opportunities between ETF, related futures and underlying basket of stocks Prepare analytical reports to management on P/L related to the portfolio of ETF Tracking volumes traded on the portfolio of ETF and generate analytical reports to management Holder of SFC Type 1 license Bachelor Degree or above preferably with major in Financial Engineering, Computer Science, Math or related disciplines Experience in market making of ETF or other financial products is strongly preferred Strong knowledge of different ETF products listed in Hong Kong as well as in US Excellent communication and interpersonal skills; self-motivated, independent, able to work under constant pressure Proficiency in Excel, Bloomberg and Python Excellent command of spoken and written English and Chinese (including Mandarin)
