Events & Marketing Manager | China shopping mall (based in Hong Kong), agency candidates welcome The organization is a major corporation with its main offices located in Hong Kong. It plays an active role in various retail ventures and undertakings in Hong Kong and China. At present, they are seeking a highly proficient individual to assume the role of Manager. This position entails leading the Marketing and Promotions Team and overseeing the offline (marketing communications campaigns, events & promotions) marketing endeavors for their luxury shopping malls in China. The job will be based in Hong Kong and you will report directly to the Department Head. Additionally, you will be responsible for supervising a team of local experts in a fast‑paced and dynamic work setting. Responsibilities Possess a strong aptitude for devising branding strategies that align with the corporate brand. Proficient in creating comprehensive and integrated marketing and communications strategies, along with actionable plans. Exceptional organizational skills to coordinate year‑round events, festive celebrations, and promotional activities. Demonstrated leadership and management capabilities in executing public relations strategies, including media relations, securing media coverage, fostering community relations, and engaging with Key Opinion Leaders (KOLs). Explore marketing opportunities and collaborate with business partners to coordinate joint promotions. Take charge of developing thematic and tactical promotions to capture market attention, increase footfall, and effectively manage budgets. Develop and implement strategies to attract and retain Gen Z customers. Oversee all public relations and publicity activities, event management, and customer relationship management (CRM). Required to travel to China for business purposes every 1‑2 months. Qualifications Hold a Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Communications, Creative, or a related field. Possess a minimum of 10 years of marketing experience within prominent corporations. Essential knowledge and prior exposure to the property and retail industry. Previous experience in overseeing marketing initiatives aimed at Chinese tourists and executing promotional campaigns for shopping malls in China. Candidates with a background in event agencies or production houses are encouraged to apply. Excellent skills in team management and interpersonal communication.
