Position: Store Event IT Support Engineer Job Summary We are seeking an experienced and trilingual Senior Store IT Support Engineer. You will be a key technical expert ensuring the smooth operation of our high‑end retail stores in Hong Kong and the surrounding region. This role goes beyond daily IT troubleshooting, requiring a deep understanding of the unique operational processes and technology environment within the retail or luxury sector. You will be instrumental in upholding our brand image and customer experience through stable and reliable technical support. Key Responsibilities High‑End Store Technology Operations: Provide rapid, professional on‑site and remote IT support to stores, with a core focus on ensuring the stability of POS systems, Customer Relationship Management (CRM), and inventory management systems in high‑pressure environments. Hardware & Network Support: Manage and maintain all store IT hardware assets, including registers, barcode scanners, RFID devices, and high‑precision printers, ensuring they meet the brand's high standards.Diagnose and resolve complex network issues (including LAN/Wi‑Fi), coordinating with vendors to ensure secure, stable store connectivity that supports a seamless customer experience. Systems & Project Support: Assist in the deployment, upgrading, and testing of various application software and system updates related to retail operations.Participate in IT projects for new store openings and renovations, responsible for the planning, installation, and commissioning of IT equipment. VIP Event & Technical Support: Provide necessary IT technical support and assurance for in‑store VIP events or private previews. Knowledge Management & Training: Create and maintain targeted, easy‑to‑understand technical operational guides and troubleshooting manuals.Conduct regular, simplified IT system operation training for store staff to enhance the technical proficiency of the front‑line team. Qualifications Mandatory Requirements: Language Skills: Must be fluent in Cantonese, Mandarin, and English, with the ability to conduct technical communication and documentation proficiently in all three languages. Location: Must be currently based in Hong Kong and eligible to work legally. Experience: 4‑6 years of experience in IT technical support, including at least 2 years within the retail or luxury industry. Technical Skills: In‑depth knowledge of Windows desktop OS and Microsoft Office suite support. Solid foundation in networking (TCP/IP, VLAN, Wi‑Fi) with the ability to independently resolve network failures. Familiarity with hardware (e.g., POS systems, scanners, cash drawers) and software systems common in the retail industry. Soft Skills: Exceptional customer service orientation, with the ability to respond to various situations in a high‑end environment calmly and professionally. Strong analytical and independent problem‑solving skills. High sense of responsibility and discretion, with the ability to adapt to a fast‑paced environment and handle pressure.
