Contract Technical Assistants (Architectural) Join to apply for the Contract Technical Assistants (Architectural) role at Yau Lee Holdings Limited . Job Description The Contract Technical Assistant (CTA(A)) will work in the HA Headquarters or any other office of the HD / HA or in any site office or other locations at the discretion of the CM. Duties And Responsibilities Prepare, check and update working drawings, submission drawings, presentation drawings, survey plans and schedules. Update drainage disposal plans. Check shop drawings and as-fitted drawings submitted by contractors, suppliers and utility companies. Coordinate architectural, building services, structural, site formation, drainage, geotechnical and other drawings as necessary. Liaise with professionals, technical officers and site staff of the Housing Department and contractor's representatives where appropriate, on matters related to the project. Assist in the research of architectural/built materials for use in the contract and where applicable, their costs and sources of supply. Prepare, update record drawings and programme charts. Compute site areas, plot ratio, etc. Take on-site measurement and prepare survey drawings. Be responsible for the issue and receipt of drawings and maintain a proper record of such. Construct study models. Arrange printing of drawings. Perform other duties as directed by the CM. Qualification / Experience The CTA(A) shall possess at least a Diploma or Higher Certificate in Building Studies or Architectural Studies from the Hong Kong Polytechnic University or a vocational institution confirmed by the CM, or equivalent, with good skill and experience in AutoCAD drafting and preparation of architectural drawings, and good knowledge of Building Regulations and Code of Practices. Proficiency in Photoshop, 3D and PowerPoint applications is preferred. Salary $24,380 - $34,060 per month plus extra overtime payment. Salary will be commensurate with qualification and working experience. Office Hours The normal office hours of the CTA(A) are either (i) from 08:30 to 17:18 or (ii) from 08:57 to 17:45, Monday to Friday as determined by the CM. Hours may be subject to change to follow the general office hours of the Housing Department upon written instruction. Annual Leave The CTA shall be entitled to 14 working days of paid annual leave per 12 months of continuous employment or part thereof pro rata. For employment less than 12 months, leave is pro rata. No leave if dismissed within probation. Leave For any anticipated leave longer than 14 consecutive working days, a temporary CTA may be appointed to cover the role under CM approval.
