Contract Technical Assistant (Architectural) (CTA(A)) Job Title: Contract Technical Assistant (Architectural) (CTA(A)) Place of Duty Contract Technical Assistant CTA(A) shall work in the Housing Authority Headquarters or in any other office of the Housing Department / Hong Kong Housing Authority or in any site office as directed. Duties To assist Contract Manager or other personnel as appointed by the CM in carrying out the following duties: To prepare, check, update and amend Architectural drawings, detail and sketches and BIM models; To assist in carrying out design work on Architectural elements; To arrange for printing and distribution of drawings; To assist in preparing site instructions for construction; To assist in preparing relevant documents and drawings for ICU submission; To assist in updating as-built drawings; To liaise with professionals, technical officers and site staff of the Housing Department, consultants and contractors where appropriate, in handling matters related to design, drafting, construction work, technical problems arising from site difficulties and/or discrepancies in drawings; To perform other duties as directed by the CM or the CM's Representatives. Qualification /Experience Holder of Diploma / Higher Certificate or above in Architectural from the Hong Kong Polytechnic University or the Hong Kong Institute of Vocational Education or equivalent; Experience in drafting and preparation of Architectural drawings together with good knowledge of Hong Kong Building Regulations and Code of Practice; Good command in English and Cantonese/Mandarin; Proficient skill in AutoCAD, MS Word, Excel and Revit; Office Hours The normal office hours are wither from (i) 08:30am to 17:18pm or (ii) 08:57am to 17:45pm, Monday to Friday. The office hours may be subject to change to follow the general office hours of the Housing Department and to meet site programme. The CTA(A) will be required to work extra hours on weekdays, Saturday, Sunday and holiday when instructed. Period of Employment Contract Period: 12 months Monthly Salary will be ranging from HK$24,380 to HK$43,850 (depending on related working experience and extra working hours).
