Required Technical Skill Set Project Management Desired Competencies (Technical/Behavioral Competency) Must-Have Degree holder in Information Technology, Business or related area Minimum 5 years in project management role. For an Assistant Project Manager minimum of 5 years of IT experience Proven experience in managing projects with ability to multitask and manage multiple small to medium projects in a cross-functional environment Detailed knowledge of the following disciplines: project and program delivery, portfolio management, application development management, infrastructure development management, vendor management, service transition and cutover planning Technical proficiency in hardware and system software, as well as experience implementing packages and working with vendors Project management related certification such as PMP Proven experience in managing OPEX Cost/Budget management Project Manager need to have knowledge in Operation capabilities and IT Service Delivery functions that sustain and improve customer experience of IT Services Role descriptions / Expectations from the Role Drive, plan and direct all IT project activities to ensure that project objectives are accomplished within prescribed time frames and funding parameters Analyse and review project proposals or plans to determine time frame, funding limitations, sourcing approach, delivery method, dependencies, procedures for accomplishing projects, negotiate staffing requirements to various project phases Cross-teams and cross–department collaboration with stakeholders to drive business and technology innovation to achieve business unit’s strategic plan and business objectives Manage the dynamic project team of individuals.
