Senior Manager (Application Engineering) - Financial Service Add expected salary to your profile for insights Support the leadership in managing the development and maintenance of application systems for interbank payment services Develop IT strategies and translate them into actionable plans that align with the organization's goals and direction Establish, review, and update application development standards and procedures to ensure consistent and high-quality system delivery Supervise the full lifecycle of systems development, offering direction and support to project teams throughout each phase Prepare and present reports on project status and operational performance to senior executives and relevant stakeholders Act as a key communicator for technology-related topics with internal departments, senior management, board members, and regulatory authorities Lead and grow the IT team, fostering a culture focused on performance, accountability, and continuous improvement Conduct reviews of departmental workflows and operations to identify opportunities for enhancement and implement effective changes Assist in the execution and ongoing support of the Protection of Critical Infrastructures (Computer Systems) Ordinance as it relates to application development Carry out other duties or special projects as assigned Requirements University degree in computer science, information technology, or a related field Minimum of 15 years of experience in developing both real-time and batch processing systems across mainframe, mid-range, UNIX, and PC/LAN platforms, preferably within the banking industry; at least 8 years in a managerial role Strong understanding of structured system development methodologies for high-availability, mission-critical systems Familiarity with OLTP environments, client/server models, and J2EE architecture Proven project management capabilities along with excellent analytical, interpersonal, and communication skills Proficient in written and spoken English and Chinese; fluency in Putonghua is an advantage Candidates with extensive experience may be considered for more senior roles within the IT Application Development Division #J-18808-Ljbffr
