In this role, you’re expected to: Perform independent Client Onboarding KYC due diligence for new and existing clients across private banking, operations and compliance. Review client profiles and work with bankers to fulfill onboarding requirements, ensuring compliance with AML/KYC standards and local regulations. Perform client name screening disposition, sanctions review and enhanced due diligence. Identify and highlight suspicious money‑laundering activities and non‑compliance issues; provide guidance on exception handling and approvals. Manage client risk assessments and MIS reports for management reporting. Conduct gap analysis on policies and standards, identify improvement initiatives to streamline KYC and onboarding processes, and keep guidelines up to date. Deliver training to junior team members and serve as Subject Matter Expert to senior stakeholders. Ensure timely and accurate delivery of all functions, delivering superior customer service guided by SLAs and efficiency standards. Manage daily volume processing, ensuring in‑process and pending activities meet all KYC requirements. Establish close working relationships with clients, stakeholders and team members to facilitate open communication. Lead project management, process and policy changes, new initiatives and cross‑functional relationships. Establish risk management practices and strengthen controls through process and system enhancements. Appropriately assess risk in business decisions, safeguarding the firm’s reputation and assets. Embark on continuous on‑the‑job training for end‑to‑end product knowledge. Operate with limited direct supervision, exercising independence of judgement and autonomy. As a successful candidate, you’d ideally have the following skills and exposure: 5‑8 years of experience in KYC/AML process, compliance, operations, risk & control functions. Demonstrated interpersonal skills, proactive teamwork and ability to work independently. Ability to manage multiple stakeholders across levels, businesses and geographies. Highly motivated, persistent, able to work in a structured, high‑volume, time‑sensitive, high‑risk environment. Capability to multitask, eager to learn multiple products, fast learner, strong attention to detail, willingness to go the extra mile. Proficient in handling urgent and escalation cases and managing internal team expectations. Proficient in Microsoft Office applications. Consistently demonstrates clear and concise written and verbal communication skills. Proficient knowledge of English (written and spoken). Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
