This role will see you working with companies to advise and support the implementation to bring the strategies to life. As the demand increases from Hong Kong corporates, financial services and NGOs for more focus on ESG and Sustainability our client are looking to appoint a Sustainability Analyst to support their growing services in Hong Kong and Asia. This role will maintain a strong focus on driving measurable environmental, social and financial impacts of responsible business practices. The role will also offer the opportunity to be involved in the design and delivery of purposeful programs. The successful candidate will be mature, adaptive, reflective and with strong analytical skills. A fast learner and self-starter with high commitment to providing quality and innovative solutions that deliver positive social and environmental change will set apart the best among the candidates. Role Work as a core member of the team to support the growth of sustainability services to be the best-in-class in Asia Conduct market, industry, policy, environmental and social research to support the development of state-of-the-art strategic approaches to deliver sustainable change to clients Assist in performing environmental and/or social impact assessments, including analysing and synthesising information and data, e.g. on climate change Support the design and delivery of bespoke stakeholder engagement programs uncovering insights to inform what needs to be done and to inspire change Bring innovation, creativity and inspiration into all research, engagement and strategy advisory work Qualities, skills & experience A passion for driving sustainable change, more than an interest in environmental and social issues Minimum 2 to 5 years of work experience Work experience in a corporate environment or in the fields of sustainability consultancy or market research is an advantage A mature individual who is humble, reflective, resilient, and solution-driven Self-driven, with a curious mind and exceptional grit and commitment to quality High level of agility, adaptability and persistence in the pursuit of impact Strong analytical skills with the ability to organise, analyse, and interpret data and information with attention to detail and accuracy Excellent written and spoken English Fluency in Chinese language (Cantonese and/or Putonghua) is an advantage Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel and PowerPoint) Experience in quantitative data analysis/visualisation is an advantage Bachelor degree or higher This represents a fantastic opportunity for someone starting their career in sustainability to work in a stimulating and exciting team with ample learning and development opportunities on the job.
