Known for its collaborative culture and high-calibre legal talent, the firm advises multinational corporations, financial institutions, and government entities on complex cross-border transactions and regulatory matters. This charismatic and engaging hiring partner inspires great confidence in their team and has a strong focus on digital infrastructure, data privacy, and emerging technologies. They now seek an ambitious mid-senior level associate to join this team to offer Asia-wide TMT advisory services to the firm's clients. This dynamic role will join the firm's dynamic TMT practice to advise on data centre agreements, telecoms infrastructure, and digital transformation projects across the Asia region. The successful candidate will work closely with TMT and transactionalpartners across Hong Kong and Singapore, providing strategic support on TMT transactions, regulatory advisory, and corporate matters. The role also includes corporate support for M&A and infrastructure projects, offering exposure to high-value, multi-jurisdictional deals. The ideal candidate will be qualified in a common law jurisdiction with 4-6 years' post-qualification experience in TMT law, including substantial involvement in data centre-related agreements and/or fibre optic agreements. Exceptional US and PRC-qualified lawyers with experience of complex data centre, fibre optics and other telco infrastructure agreement will also be considered. Exceptional drafting skills in English and the ability to look at the bigger picture on deals are essential, whilst familiarity with telecoms regulations, data privacy, and digital infrastructure regulations is highly desirable. Mandarin language skills would be advantageous but are not mandatory.
