Our client is a newly established company specialized in the supply of LED lighting systems to institutional users, primarily projects from their parent company. Responsibilities: Responsible for both sourcing of quality LED lighting or other building materials and collaborating with supplier partners to lead continuous productperformance improvement and innovation to stay ahead of competition. In charge of different category sourcing activities (mainly lighting) for projects. To deal with the purchase of goods, and have effective knowledge about suppliers in the market, cross examine available products, their prices, quality, etc., as such can negotiate in the favor of the Company. To analyze procurement needs and develop procurement and contracting strategies. To assure thattechnical specifications will comply safety and quality standards for different market. To collaborate with manufacturing partners to design new products or to identify ways to improve the existing ones to increase their marketability. To select and develop potential suppliers to widen the supply base. Requirements: Bachelor degree holder. With over 5 years in wide range of lighting procurement experience, at least 3 of which related to project management. Possess good knowledge of quality suppliers and products in lighting or building materials or is a must. Excellent negotiation skills and fluent in English and Mandarin, with the ability to communicate effectively with technical and non-technical disciplines, both internal and external. Cost-conscious and have a meticulous approach to product quality.Proficient in Microsoft Office and AutoCAD preferred. Occasionally travel to PRC is required. Immediate availability is preferable.
