About the job Location Guangzhou City, China Department Own Brand – Sourcing Reports To China Office Manager About the Role We are looking for a dedicated and detail‑oriented Product Quality Assurance professional to join our Own Brand sourcing team. In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring that all products under THE ICONIC’s own brands meet our rigorous quality and compliance standards. You will work closely with suppliers, buying teams, garment technique teams, and internal stakeholders to monitor product quality, identify and resolve issues, and support continuous improvement initiatives. Key Responsibilities Product Inspections and Quality Control Oversee quality assurance processes for own brand products from development through to final production. Conduct inspections and quality checks at various stages of the production process, both on‑site at factories and in‑house. Review products against approved samples, specifications, and quality benchmarks to ensure that workmanship, measurements, and overall products conform to defined product specifications and regulatory compliance standards. Identify, document, and report quality issues, non‑conformities, and potential risks. Own the execution of the inspection process from Purchase Order (PO) receipt, to reporting and disposition of identified issues. Create and upload inspection reports into own brand’s QC reporting system. Collaborate with suppliers and own brand garment tech teams to resolve quality concerns and implement corrective actions. Ensure all products comply with relevant safety, regulatory, and company standards. Maintain accurate records of inspections, test results, and quality reports. Provide feedback and training to suppliers and internal teams on quality standards and expectations. Participate in product development meetings and pre‑production sample reviews as required. Support for product measurement and cost, calculate consumption of the product. Support shipping sample approval in the office and factories. What Will You Bring To the Team At least 5 years’ experience in product quality assurance, quality control, or a similar role within the apparel or consumer goods industry. Diploma or degree in Textile, Apparel, Fashion, or a related field preferred. Strong understanding of garment construction, materials, and production processes. Knowledge of international quality standards and compliance requirements. Excellent attention to detail and analytical skills. Communicate with honesty and kindness, strong communication and interpersonal abilities, with both offshore suppliers and internal departments. Ability to work independently and travel to supplier sites as needed. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite; experience with PLM or quality management systems is an advantage. Organised with impeccable attention to detail, with an ability to anticipate problems and provide suitable solutions. Willing to learn and adapt new things, strong result‑oriented and problem solving skills. Good written and spoken English communication skills.
