Assistant Manager - Trade Finance Operations (Corporate Bank) We are assisting our banking client, an expanding corporate bank renowned for its commitment to innovation and exceptional client service, in their search for an Assistant Manager in Trade Finance Operations . This is an exciting opportunity to join a dynamic team that plays a crucial role in supporting the bank's growth and enhancing its trade finance offerings. The ideal candidate will help develop robust operational processes while working in a collaborative environment focused on professional growth and excellence in service delivery. Key Responsibilities: Oversee day-to-day operations of trade finance activities, ensuring compliance with internal policies and regulatory requirements. Identify and implement process enhancements to improve efficiency and mitigate risks in trade finance operations. Ensure accurate and timely review of trade documents, including Letters of Credit, bills of lading, and other supporting documents. Serve as a key point of contact for clients regarding trade finance inquiries, providing exceptional service and support. Analyze and mitigate risks associated with trade transactions to protect the bank’s interests. Prepare and present operational reports to senior management, highlighting performance metrics and opportunities for improvement. Requirements: Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business Administration, or a related field. A minimum of 5 years of experience in trade finance operations within the banking sector. Strong knowledge of trade finance products, including Letters of Credit and documentary collections. Proven leadership skills, with the ability to motivate and develop a team. Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities. Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, to interact effectively with clients and stakeholders. Proficient in relevant banking software and MS Office applications.
