Content Acquisition – Manager/Assistant Manager

Negotiating deals, managing contracts, work closely with cross-functional teams such as Marketing, Product and Programming to align content acquisition with business goals and audience needs. Responsibilities: Develop and execute content acquisition strategies and plans Evaluate and source new content deals from business partners or licensors Negotiate and finalize content licensing agreements Coordinate post-contract execution, overseeing the flow from content deliverables through to the content start date Update contracts, process payments, and manage the content database, including maintaining records of all licensing-related expenditures and obligations Manage and nurture relationships with content providers Job Requirements: Diplomaor above in Business Management, Media, Marketing, Communications or a related field preferred Minimum 2-3 years of experience in content acquisition, preferably in the film, TV, digital entertainment or media industry Strong communication skills, with proficiency in written and spoken English & Chinese (Mandarin and Cantonese) Proficiency in PC applications especially Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.) Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, passionate about movies, and self-driven with a positive, can-do attitude Candidates with less experience will be considered for the position of Assistant Manager Immediate availability is preferred We offer a 5-day work week and a competitive medical package to the right candidate.
