About the role A leading European high fashion casual brand is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Senior Merchandiser to join our team. In this full‑time position, you will be responsible for overseeing the merchandising of our men's and women's suit collections. What you'll be doing Develop and implement effective merchandising strategies to drive sales and enhance the in‑store customer experience. Collaborate with the design, buying and marketing teams to ensure the product assortment aligns with brand vision and customer demands. Monitor stock levels and identify opportunities to maximise sell‑through and minimise markdowns. Drive cost negotiation to achieve target FOB prices while maintaining quality. Develop a seasonal merchandising strategy for the suit category in alignment with the brand's overall vision. Manage the relationships with key factories and suppliers, stay up to date with industry trends and competitors to identify opportunities for improvement. What we're looking for Minimum 5 years of experience in a senior merchandising role, with at least 3–5 years specifically in suiting, preferably within the EU fashion or buying office. Excellent understanding of men's and women's suit trends, fabrics and styles. Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills to optimise product assortment. Proven track record of driving sales growth and improving inventory management. Exceptional communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with cross‑functional teams. Highly organized and detail‑oriented with superior time‑management skills. Proactive problem‑solver who can work effectively under pressure.
