Front Office Research Technology Business Analyst You will be working onsite at the Advisory Technology Training (ATT) team of a leading investment banking equity research group. ATT supports the Global Research business and is located in New York, London, Hong Kong & Krakow, serving over 1,000 Research Analysts, Associates and Investment Bank staff. The team’s objective is to ensure the bank’s proprietary research, CRM, desktop and mobile technology platforms are used to their fullest potential by both revenue- and non‑revenue‑generating end‑users worldwide. Responsibilities Engage users of research technology applications to ensure they can fully leverage the tools available through training and support. Raise awareness of research applications, key features, and how they support core business processes within the Research department. Plan and lead change‑management initiatives, including communication plans, training, documentation, and support for new applications or features. Work closely with users to identify AI opportunities in existing processes and drive these ideas to solution. Propose new ideas to improve access to training services and content, ultimately enhancing users’ application knowledge. Report feedback and additional enhancement requirements from users, and communicate these to business‑analyst teams. Participate in user acceptance testing (UAT) of proprietary UBS products to gather knowledge. Facilitate and run usability sessions and pilots related to application design and requirements. Produce client‑facing training materials such as online guides, eLearning tools, PowerPoint decks, and emails. Maintain team website and other internal tools and process documentation. Produce metrics on team responsibilities and goals. Qualifications Strong verbal and written communication skills in English. Excellent presentation skills. Experience using AI tools and, ideally, some programming knowledge (e.g., Python, VBScript). Data analytics and reporting skills, ideally in Excel or Power BI. Ability to build rapport with research analysts/users, identify business requirements, and implement ideas. Creative problem‑solving skills and tolerance for uncertainty. Passion for learning and professional growth. Experience working in a global organization and/or virtual team across multiple time zones. Ability to work effectively in a matrix organization with global stakeholders, influencing without formal authority. Team player who can also work independently to get tasks done. Knowledge of investment banking, research, finance, economics, or accounting is helpful. Experience in project management is advantageous. IT support experience is advantageous. Spoken Mandarin (Chinese) is a plus.
