Job Overview Global Payments Inc. is a leading worldwide provider of payment technology and software solutions, delivering innovative services to customers globally. Responsibilities Conduct credit assessment and approval of merchant credit applications ranging from SME to global multinational names. Prepare comprehensive credit reports on regional deals/accounts beyond individual approval authority for executive management approval. Conduct periodic reviews and checks of the credit team to ensure adherence to prevailing credit policies and guidelines. Liaise with various parties to consider risks in the approval process. Ensure timely periodic re‑underwriting of merchants. Monitor portfolio quality on an ongoing basis and recommend rating and collateral actions, making recommendations on how to improve portfolio quality. Lead portfolio database management of the team. Manage post‑approval recording/monitoring and general risk portfolio management. Work with worldwide credit to establish and update sound, acceptable credit policies. Assist in streamlining processes to achieve effective credit risk controls. Provide support and training to less experienced credit analysts. Partner with the sales team to drive business results and promote consistent execution between various groups. Other job responsibilities and ad‑hoc projects as needed. Willing to travel. Qualifications Minimum 5 years relevant experience in finance/accounting or similar position required, including a minimum of 2 years experience as a credit analyst. Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, statistics, or business with an emphasis on mathematical and analytical skills. Knowledge & Skills Strong database and portfolio management. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills. Excellent organization and prioritization skills. Strong analytical and detail‑minded. Able to work under pressure and determined to meet tight deadlines. Proficient in reading and writing in English. Excellent Excel skills and well‑based in other MS Office applications such as Word and PowerPoint. Demonstrates good judgment in selecting methods and techniques for obtaining solutions.
