The RE&WS Function is responsible for providing the environment, processes, equipment, and resources that efficiently and effectively help our Willis Towers Watson colleagues meet client demands and the overall objectives of the organization. The Local RE&WS Facilities Services Manager role is responsible for managing an integrated set of support programs and services to colleagues in a local WTW geographic entity level (office, market, or cluster), focusing on enabling productivity, managing costs, mitigating risk, and supporting our brand. Programs and services include but are not limited to work environment, maintenance, reception, on-site meeting support, food services, print, post, office equipment, safety, security, business continuity, and records management.

The Role

  • Provide subject matter expertise in facilities management methodology and practices including site maintenance, physical security, health & safety, space planning, environmental sustainability, business continuity, records management, and other work environment priorities.
  • Support the development and effective utilization of standard operating procedures and tools.
  • Ensure local RE&WS Facilities Services team members are informed and capable of meeting their role/responsibilities.
  • Partner with local business/key stakeholders to ensure Facilities Services capabilities align with business operations by creating and maintaining trusted and effective relationships across the geography leadership.
  • Active and collaborative support for the successful completion of Real Estate projects in the local office.
  • Tangible contributions to local operations improvement plan and integration targets resulting in financial and qualitative benefits.
  • Manage and support change management activities effectively to reduce business disruption and meet intended objectives.
  • Operate as an integral part of the Regional RE&WS-Facilities Services Management Team and provide input to/support wider WTW activities.
Qualifications

The Requirement

  • Significant subject matter expertise in facilities management and office support operations within a client-focused professional services environment.
  • Demonstrated ability to operate within an environment of sound decision-making, ownership, and accountability at all levels by communicating a clear stance on key issues.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills used to effectively facilitate the understanding of a full range of views and develop support for business initiatives/cases.
  • Demonstrated leadership skills with the ability to coach, train, and motivate colleagues at various levels.
  • Recognized as a positive change agent in response to changing business dynamics and support requirements.
  • Proven analytical, organizational, and project management skills.
  • Highly skilled in managing interpersonal relationships with various constituents with a primary focus on customer satisfaction.
  • Success in the development and implementation of office support processes, procedures, and guidelines that drive efficiency and service excellence.
  • Effective influencing skills and ability to assist key stakeholders in reaching satisfactory resolutions.
  • Minor travel may be required for meetings, team initiatives, or other project-related activities.
  • Proficiency in the use of technology (e.g., MS Office).
  • College/University degree preferred.
