President and Founder | ALL-STAR AGENCY | Recruiting Champions in Banking and Financial Services We are recruiting for an established bank for an FX Senior Investment Strategist to be responsible for formulating asset allocation strategy and being a regular spokesperson with the media about the bank's asset allocation strategies and other investment-related matters. You will prepare periodical investment-related publications to drive investment-related activities for Private Banking, Personal Banking, and Corporate Banking customers. Role Responsibilities Prepare periodical investment publications to drive investment-related activities of Private Banking, Personal Banking, and Corporate Banking Clients; Develop a House View on various asset classes (namely FX) across regions and industry sectors; and formulate a comprehensive investment view for the Bank; Serve as a regular spokesperson with the media about the bank's asset allocation strategies and other investment-related matters. Feature in short‑form content across media channels, and brand awareness in local and international media; Prepare daily market commentaries, news flashes and client‑facing investment thought pieces; Contribute to bilingual (English and Chinese) investment content and prepare investment publications; Attend and communicate strategy views during morning sales meetings, team meetings, product development meetings; Present investment views in media and conferences and demonstrate compelling thought leadership. Work closely with internal stakeholders, such as Product Specialists of different asset classes at Investment Products Advisory Department to get updated trade ideas and product information. Communicate investment views to internal stakeholders, Relationship Managers and Clients; Attend selective client meetings along with Relationship Managers to discuss macroeconomic views and to follow up on Client requests; Build model advisory portfolios for different client profiles with suggested asset allocation; Other duties as assigned. Role Requirements University graduate from a reputable institution, preferably majoring in economics, finance, or a relevant professional qualification. At least 10 years of relevant working experience, from a reputable financial institution. CFA is preferred. Passed HKSI Paper 1, 7, 8. HKIB qualification is an advantage. Solid managerial experience of 5 years, preferably at a similar background. Sound knowledge of investment and financial products. Knowledge of FX is a must. Knowledge of relevant rules and regulations. Strong presentation, public‑speaking and interpersonal skills with experience of facing the media and handling difficult questions. Good spoken and written English, Chinese and Mandarin will be essential.
