Poste et missions Summary of Position The APAC Strategist will be responsible for developing strategy views and visibility for the APAC based team. The Strategist will mainly develop views on APAC rates and FX, both on local developed and emerging markets ex-Japan. He / she / they will be a key player coordinating with the Economists based in HK and the research team of strategists based in Paris and New York. The APAC Strategist will be part of the Natixis CIB Research team led by the Head of CIB Research. The Strategist will report locally to the Chief Economist of the Asia and globally to the Head of Strategy based in Paris. He / she / they will work across the organization, partnering with Global Markets traders and sales to provide insights and help close deals with all Natixis CIB teams. He / she / they will engage with Natixis clients to share markets views and will produce regular and one-off publications on APAC rates & FX markets. Main Responsibilities Develop APAC interest rate & FX scenarios in conjunction with Paris / NY-based strategists and APAC economists. Develop and maintain APAC rates & FX strategy recommendations. Conduct inter-market analysis based on financial asset specifics and macroeconomics with APAC Economists. Continuously monitor interest rates & FX dynamics in APAC, both on developed and emerging markets, mainly on the following currencies : AUD, KRW, TWD, HKD, IND & CNY. Develop ideas and analysis both on linear and non-linear products. Work with the Communications team to identify optimal channels and formats for delivering content to the media to raise and strengthen Natixis' profile and brand awareness in APAC. Support Global Markets teams locally and globally by sharing views on APAC markets ex-Japan. Attend frequent client meetings to promote Natixis Research's views on APAC markets and to support the Global Markets flow business in general. Required Skills Bachelor's degree in finance, economics, physics, or mathematics; Master's or Ph.D. a plus. 5+ years of experience in US trading / strategy or related field; advanced analytical and modeling skills required. Experience working as a trader a plus. Strong understanding of global macro products including derivatives. Strong developing skills to generate trading & RV tools. Dynamic presentation skills and ability to deliver insightful content to business leaders and clients. Highly effective communication skills with the ability to inspire others. Strong commitment to consistently delivering the highest quality results, with deep technical understanding and attention to detail. Ability to work in a matrixed environment with multiple stakeholders, including at the most senior levels. Ability to lead research initiatives in alignment with business objectives. Strong presentation skills. Autonomous but good teamwork as well. Knowledge of Bloomberg, Microsoft Excel, programming languages and other relevant statistical software (e.g. Python, R, EViews, Stata, etc.) #J-18808-Ljbffr
