Roles & Responsibilities In-depth knowledge and experience of mergers and acquisitions, eligible to advise on Codes on Takeovers-related matters in a sole capacity (i.e. Takeovers Code Responsible Officer). Lead and execute syndication work for mergers and acquisitions, follow-on offerings, convertible bonds, and private placements etc; develop and execute project proposals. Develop and maintain client networks (including domestic and foreign enterprises, listed companies, international banks and corporate investment divisions). Monitor and analyze market trends in Hong Kong, mainland China, and global markets to identify business opportunities and provide clients with professional solutions. Participate in cross-border project pitches and design innovative service solutions. Coordinate internal and external resources to oversee end-to-end deal execution from launch to closing. Support senior management in maintaining relationships with business partners. Job Requirements Holder of SFC Type 6 (Advising on corporate finance) Responsible Officer (RO) license, eligible to advise on Codes on Takeovers-related matters in a sole capacity (i.e. Takeovers Code Responsible Officer). Bachelor’s degree or above, preferably in finance, economics or related fields. Minimum 5 years of relevant experience, with substantial background in corporate finance, mergers and acquisitions, and matters related to the Codes on Takeovers and Mergers and Share Buy-backs, can participate and supervise team’s work. In-depth knowledge of the Codes on Takeovers and Mergers and Share Buy-backs, Hong Kong and international market regulations, with familiarity in various deal execution processes. Strong client relationship management skills and project execution capability. Proficiency in written and spoken English and Chinese (Mandarin and Cantonese). Willingness to travel frequently for cross-border project meetings. Adaptability to high-intensity, fast-paced work environment.
