HSBC Central & Western District, Hong Kong SAR Senior Client Service Manager We are currently seeking a high calibre professional to join our team as a Senior Client Service Manager. Core Responsibilities The Global Custody Client Service function is responsible for providing support to clients with their day-to-day operational and non-operational enquiries. Responsible for independently working with large and complex institutional clients, such as Asset Owners, Asset Managers, Insurance and Public Sector. Function as the focal point of contact to clients, leading the design and implementation of service enhancement client plans and projects and collaborating with the relevant departments – Operations, Product etc – to better address client needs and providing regular updates to higher management. Regular review of client SLAs, while anticipating the impact of market developments and timely communication of these to the clients. Ensures adherence to the SSv client governance and oversight model for assigned client base, including client due diligence, service reviews and review of KPIs and PLAs and other associated client data to drive service improvements and relationship efficiencies. Provide leadership and direction to the team, ensuring they have the necessary resources, training, and support to perform their duties effectively. In summary, the role holder will act as the senior operational escalation point to ensure we attain the highest levels of BAU Client Services satisfaction, retention, and reference-ability of the client base. To be successful you will need University degree preferable. Extensive experience in client management roles with relevant experience in Global Custody or securities industry. Strong awareness of the market regulations and industry best practices. Leadership and management experience is necessary. Proven track record in leading and developing teams, and ability to lead teams and motivate staff virtually. Strong operational background across settlements, asset servicing, and treasury/cash operations. Client facing with excellent communication and presentation skills, including an ability to lead and manage meetings. Experience in project management and client change. Proven ability to adapt to the changing demands of the industry, clients, and internal stakeholders. Proven capacity to operate across a complex organization collaboratively, whilst ensuring that the agreed client/HSBC agenda is effectively managed. Demonstrable history as a team-player with the ability to positively contribute to the department strategy. Ability to work in a pressurized environment and manage individual and team priorities effectively. Ability to apply innovative solutions to resolving client demands.
