Responsible for identifying client needs against SCB Sustainable finance capabilities, driving sustainable finance origination, and building new business and pipelines on the Bank's competitive attributes.

  • Identify SF transactions and be a center of excellence understanding financing structures and industry trends. The candidate will further have to support the regional head to develop and roll out regional and global strategic initiatives.
  • Work on the development and implementation of client strategies for Sustainable Finance products.
  • Work closely with group corporate affairs to build a regional internal/external stake strategy promoting sustainability, ensuring consistent messaging internally and to the wider market.
  • Drive new sustainable finance transactions and origination across all products, including loans, bonds, trade derivatives, and deposits.
  • Build and maintain an understanding of environmental and social risks across industry classes.
  • Safeguard the bank against reputation risk damage by proactively developing sustainable finance structures that are in line with global industry best practices.
Requirements
  • Degree (BA or equivalent).
  • 10 years plus banking experience with a minimum of 4+ years of experience in Origination.
  • Knowledge and experience across multiple products (preferred).
  • Knowledge of environmental and social risks and ESRM policies of the bank.
