Role Details As our Coverage Specialist - Xtrackers Mandates & Solutions Sales you will be responsible for: Drive and orchestrate sales activities in cooperation with Xtrackers Sales and Generalist client owners in the APAC region, including presentation of Xtrackers Mandates & Solutions at client meetings and workshops with institutional clients, and events on an international level (APAC-wide and internationally). Act as key contact person for requests on benchmarks and individual solutions for primarily institutional clients (incl. ESG, smart beta, systematic and rules-based index- and investment strategies). Be intimately involved in idea generation for Xtrackers Mandates & Solutions USPs, product themes, positioning, and communication. Support in developing customised solutions for passive mandates together with DWS specialists across teams and divisions. Deliver expertise on passive portfolio management and product development for equities, fixed income and multi-asset mandates. Lead individual responses to and preparation of client enquiries for client and coverage teams predominantly in APAC, but also internationally. Prepare detailed index- and strategy research & index- and solutions proposals on defined topics (incl. knowledge of the most important index providers). Lead individual preparation of client RfPs and other requests. Coordinate client due diligence meetings. Drive preparation of sales and marketing documents: presentations, case studies, etc. Support with Xtrackers Mandates & Solutions flow data and review & management of sales pipeline. Support in setting up new mandates. What we’re looking for / Qualifications Degree qualified with preference in an economics or finance related discipline. Initial experience with institutional clients in APAC. Strong understanding of how equity and fixed income investments work. Strong understanding of the investment product development process. Strong understanding of sustainable investments, sustainability trends and risks in investments and their regulatory context. Good understanding of capital markets & macroeconomic correlations. Quick comprehension and analytical thinking skills. Very good language skills (written and spoken) in English and Mandarin. Creativity and good team skills. High level of motivation to deliver better outcomes for our clients, high degree of initiative and independence; assertiveness. Excellent knowledge of MS Office applications (Excel, Access, PowerPoint and Word). Programming skills (Python, VBA) advantageous.
