Summary of job role and job purpose:

Reporting to the Chief Investment Officer, Fixed Income, assist in performing credit analysis and economic analysis.

Key responsibilities and accountabilities:

  • Research anlayst for China coverage
  • Perform credit analysis of corporate issuers, including conducting financial analysis as well as meeting with management
  • Conduct sector and macro economic analysis
  • Generate investment recommendations
  • Interact closely with portfolio managers and traders to capture investment opportunities as well as managing credit risk in a timely manner
  • Assist in portfolio analysis, ESG analysis and report writing

Requirements of this position:

  •  Bachelor/master degree in Finance/Economics/Accounting
  •  Relevant working experience in credit research/ fixed income 
  •  Have strong financial analysis and modelling skills and interest in investment
  •  CFA / CPA qualification is preferable but not necessary
  •  English and Chinese bi-lingual. Fluent in English and Mandarin
