We are currently looking for a skilled professional to join our Fixed Income Team.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop comprehensive macroeconomic insights, particularly focusing on the dynamics of China, the United States, and Europe. Remain updated on regulatory developments, geopolitical shifts, and currency policies that influence the money market.

• Act as the derivatives expert collaborating with Portfolio Managers to deliver tailored derivative solutions that align with hedging goals and strategies for our fixed income portfolios. Provide in-depth knowledge on derivative instruments, market trends, and risk management techniques.

• Exhibit the ability to work autonomously and execute derivative transactions effectively.

• Show keen market awareness and a profound understanding of investment mandates and ISDA agreements. Engage in the negotiation processes related to ISDA agreements.

• Analyze trends in interest rates, foreign exchange, and associated derivatives, conducting assessments on volatility arbitrage, dispersion, and correlation.

• Prepare and deliver high-quality presentations to senior executives during investment committee meetings.

Requirements

• A Bachelor's degree in Finance or Economics. Progressing towards or already possessing a CFA qualification or FRM charter is advantageous.

• Familiarity with FX and other hedging instruments commonly utilized in fixed income portfolios, such as FX Forward, Options, Futures, and Cross Currency Swaps.

• Knowledge of the economic, market, and policy landscape in China, Asia, Europe, and the United States.

• Understanding of the local regulatory framework, particularly concerning derivative hedging practices.

• Experience with trading platforms relevant to the fixed income sector.

• A minimum of 3 years of research and trading experience within an asset management firm or investment bank, demonstrating exceptional analytical capabilities in corporate finance and macroeconomics.

• Strong quantitative abilities and proficiency in both written English and Chinese are essential.

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the capacity to engage and influence senior stakeholders.

• Proven expertise in developing macroeconomic tools, including proficiency in Excel, VBA, R, SQL, C++, and Python.
