Assistant Manager – MidCorp
(Less experience will be considered as Senior Executive)
Responsibilities:
- Develop and drive profitable growth of MidCorp business
- Handle account servicing to build-up & maintain the business portfolio in line with the target regional and local goals
- Utilize and further develop strong network of local brokers, monitor market developments, and develop adequate strategies
- Assist Team Lead to reinforce sales capabilities & technical skills within the team and provide solid technical support & training to team members
- Assist to Define and Execute team strategies, business plan & marketing activities
- Implement global underwriting rules and disciplines and provide recommendations in respect of local underwriting guidelines, price principle and structure etc.
- Optimize internal operation efficiency in line with underwriting requirement and service excellence
Requirements:
- Minimum 8 years' relevant experience in General Insurance industry
- Tertiary education; holders of ACII/ANZIIF qualifications or equivalent would be an advantage
- Strong technical, analytical, and underwriting skills
- Knowledge of Property & Casualty (Multi Commercial Lines) Underwriting will be an advantage
- Results-driven, strong market knowledge & network; Customer-oriented; be proactive and innovative in offering solutions
- Excellent communication, interpersonal and coaching skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications
- Excellent command of written and spoken English and Chinese
