Overview

My client is a well-known foreign bank in Hong Kong recognized for its extensive corporate banking operations worldwide. They are now looking for an IT Support Officer with experience in Service Desk and IT support to help fix hardware and software problems, computer equipment installation and setup, and answering end users' inquiries on computer equipment usage.

Job Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Provide level 1 user support and troubleshooting for IT-related issues.
  • Perform day-to-day PC administration and desktop services.
  • Conduct regular system checks and operations to ensure smooth functioning.
  • Handle administrative tasks such as hardware inventory, report generation, and system document preparation.
  • Coordinate with vendors for maintenance and services.

Requirements:

  • Hold a degree or higher diploma in IT or a related discipline.
  • Possess at least 2 years of relevant working experience in Service Desk and IT support.
  • Previous experience in financial or sizable firms is advantageous.
  • Knowledge of using ticketing tools such as ServiceNow.
  • Customer-oriented with excellent communication skills and the ability to work well in a team.
  • Proactive, independent, self-driven, and eager to learn.
  • Proficient in both written and spoken English and Cantonese.
