Manager Controls and Global Standards

We are currently seeking a high calibre professional to join our team as a Manager Controls and Global Standards. In this role you will Support the team to maintain and upkeep a high standard in Contact Centre and Remote Channel (CCRC) from risk perspectives to meet all internal, external policies, and regulatory requirements Lead and own particular risk areas to act the FLOD contact point for CCRC (data, conduct, etc) to enhance CCRC risk awareness, heighten control and conduct regular control monitoring; Provide regular risk and control update to CCRC management Follow business guidance and help the implementation of group or RBW/WPB led risk initiatives. In particular, be the primary advocate of the team to promote and enhance CCRC risk awareness, control, monitoring, and staff conduct agenda in both offshore/onshore. Lead and manage the end-to-end conduct related initiatives for CCRC to ensure engagement and effective delivery of conduct related learnings to frontline. Manage regular risk and control reports update and draw findings / learnings / root cause and improvement actions; manage and keep track on mitigation actions and maintain overall improvement plan for any gaps identified via staff cases, and/or via different lines of defense. Coordinate and collaborate with stakeholders e.g. Frontline, CCO risk and control team, Offshore team to align all risk initiatives in relation to CCRC Work with Offshore team to conduct regular review on service requirements and performance to provide management and oversight of achievement and business gap. Facilitate the collaboration and support for different CCRC functions on risk consultancy and align with risk stewards. To be successful you will need University degree in a relevant business discipline. Exposure to contact centre operations is an advantage Attention to detail, drive for end to end follow up and good record management Open minded attitude and flexible to change are the pre-requisites; willingness and ability to learn new skill and process is critical Capacity to coordinate a wide variety of solutions Always carry a positive attitude and ability to work with different levels of people Good planning and prioritization skills under multiple tasks in pipeline Strong communication skill and ability to simplify complicated concept, good interpersonal skill and presentation skill Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint HSBC is committed to building a culture where all employees are valued, respected and opinions count.
