Team The Design Team at SEEK consists of 60+ professionals across Product Design, Visual Design, Research, Design Systems, Content Design and Operations. Role We’re looking for a tech‑savvy, native Traditional Chinese writer, fluent in English, to help create the best possible experience for our Hong Kong customers through high‑quality translation and localisation. As an Associate Content Designer (Localisation), you will bridge communication across cultures and markets, ensuring all product copy, marketing content and other materials are translated accurately and resonate with our Hong Kong audience. This full‑time, hybrid role supports APAC business goals and enhances accessibility, inclusion and engagement. Job Description Localise product copy, marketing content and other materials from English into Traditional Chinese, ensuring accuracy, consistency, cultural relevance and consistency with SEEK's voice and style. Coordinate translation projects using localisation tools such as Phrase and collaborate with multiple teams to ensure timely delivery. Work with your manager to set and align on priorities and timelines. Collaborate with Marketing to define and align the brand voice for our Hong Kong audience. Help develop and maintain a Hong Kong writing style guide in line with English standards. Update and maintain glossary/terms list and translation memory tools. Collaborate cross‑functionally to ensure effective and cohesive content across all touchpoints and channels. Continuously improve translation quality and process through feedback and user research. Help review translated research materials, such as surveys and scripts. Build an understanding of product design and user‑centred thinking. Qualifications Essential Qualifications, Skills, and Experience Native fluency in Traditional Chinese and fluency in English. Strong writing, communication and collaboration skills. In‑depth cultural knowledge and ability to bring cultural nuance and sensitivity to localisation. Strong time‑management skills and the ability to manage multiple projects and requests simultaneously. A learning and growth mindset. Other Qualifications, Skills, and Experience Familiarity with localisation tools and practices (CAT tools, translation memory, etc.) or a willingness to learn. Experience in translation, transcreation, proofreading and/or copywriting for a Hong Kong audience will be valuable. Experience in a tech/software environment is nice to have. A general love and passion for writing and design, keeping up with the latest advancements. Extra points for fluency in Simplified Chinese.
