About the Role

Overview

We're looking for a Project Manager to play a central role in taking Ogilvy One's business unit to new levels of business growth, client delight, and creative innovation.

The Ogilvy One's business is focused on the creation, building, and scaling of a client's data-driven, technology-enabled interactions with its audiences. This includes, but is not limited to CRM & loyalty, data, web/app design & build, content delivery, and ecommerce. Unlike many of our competitors in this space, who think 'technology first', we start with the customer and are obsessed with infusing a brand's unique emotional connection into every experience we create.

Our PMs manage technical projects of all types through every stage of development, from idea to design to completion. They will work with teams of talented strategists, creative, user experience designers, engineers, data scientists, and other cross-functional team members to build easy-to-use and effective advertising, commerce, and consumer experiences via mobile and website applications for various client portfolios across the agency.

Who You Are:
  • Drive and manage client relationships. Develop success plans for clients that outline their critical success factors, metrics for success, potential issues and provide recommendations on digital best practices.
  • Collect client briefs and requirements for new projects and oversee internal delivery teams to ensure quality standards and client satisfaction.
  • Act as a subject matter expert and drive the adoption and enablement of customer's investment in their MarTech platform. Prepare monthly and quarterly business reviews to share marketing insight and industry best practices.
  • You play a key role in the agency to help optimise our financial forecasting, delivery methodologies, engineering sprint planning, budgeting, project planning & scheduling, and resource allocation.
How PMs will help enable and drive growth for our clients and our business:
  • Own project plans with delivery team, monitor task completion, and achieve project milestones.
  • Manage day-to-day operational aspects of project scopes and effectively apply Agile or Waterfall project methodology.
  • Prepare for customer engagement reviews on project status and follow quality assurance procedures.
  • Coordinate with the finance team tracking project expenses and invoicing activities.
  • Own the project budgets to manage costs and deliverables as well as staffing resources.
  • Effectively present and justify SoW, including timelines, budgets, resource plans, and general delivery ecosystems (integrations and partnerships).
  • Identify potential project risks and develop contingency plans.
Required experience, skills, and professional attributes of a PM:
  • Proven experience in program/project management, with client-facing industry experience managing projects such as websites/application design & build, CRM & loyalty, data, ecommerce, and digital campaigns.
  • Ability to handle multiple, high-priority projects in a demanding environment.
  • Exceptional communication skills, enabling you to deeply understand customer needs and navigate to successful solutions. Fluency in spoken and written English and Chinese are mandatory.
  • Certification in PMP or PRINCE2 with at least 2 years of experience in managing marketing technologies is a plus.
  • Experience in customer journey designs and writing business and functional requirements.
  • Ability to apply creative and analytical thinking and provide solutions in an always dynamic work environment.
  • Positive attitude is a must and a desire to grow within an emerging environment.
  • Candidates with less experience will be considered for a junior position.
How We'll Support You

Ogilvy celebrates its people. Fully. Enthusiastically. Unhesitatingly. We'll empower you with the tools you'll need to succeed. We'll give you the autonomy to seek out new paths and better ways of doing things. We'll support you with colleagues who are experts in their disciplines, drawn from across the Ogilvy network. And we'll provide opportunities for you to do work of which you'll be proud, with people you'll be proud to call your teammates.

At Ogilvy, our people are at the heart of what we do: a creative agency that sparks game-changing ideas across culture and business through collaboration, integrity, and a celebration of self-expression.

We believe in building powerful teams with purpose. This means hiring and nurturing talent across all races, ethnicities, religions, abilities, sexual orientation, and gender identities – and we relentlessly curate transformative initiatives that make our commitment to fairness and equity a reality.

Our ultimate mission is to leave a positive impact on the world, creating a better future for all, while supporting and uplifting the global communities we serve. This is central to our mantra of Borderless Creativity.

All qualified applicants will receive consideration for employment without regard to race, color, religion, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity, national origin, disability, or status as a protected veteran.

If you require reasonable accommodation to complete a job application, pre-employment testing, or a job interview or to otherwise participate in the hiring process, please do not hesitate to let your recruiter know.
