About the role We are seeking a skilled and experienced Senior Yarn Developer to join our creative team. As a Senior Yarn Developer, you will play a pivotal role in the development and innovation of our products, contributing to the company's strategic goals and maintaining our position as a leading player in the fashion and textile industry. What you'll be doing Source and develop innovative, premium yarns and textures to inspire high‑end fashion and apparel clients. Provide expert and aesthetic insight on yarn and fabric design attributes, including surface, hand feel, and drape. Conduct market research and trend analysis to identify emerging fashion trends, yarn innovations, and advancements in yarn‑making technologies. Liaise with our in house yarn and color production teams to ensure effective translation of yarn designs into commercial‑scale manufacturing. Collaborate with our design and sales teams to create yarn samples that align with seasonal collections and brand identity. Provide technical guidance and support to our sales team to effectively communicate the unique features and benefits of yarn products. Travel to global trade shows to build relationships with material and yarn providers to expand knowledge, market insights and networks. What we're looking for Minimum 6 years of experience in a senior yarn development role within the fashion and textile industry. Strong technical expertise in yarn blending, spinning, and finishing processes. Proven track record of developing innovative and commercially successful yarn products. Excellent understanding of textile trends, consumer preferences, and industry regulations. Proficient in using yarn development software and design tools. Excellent communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with cross‑functional teams. Passion for continuous learning and staying up‑to‑date with industry advancements.
